The first piece in production is entitled "A November Farewell" and is inspired by a column originally published in 1979, after the passing of Mike's first wife, Carol.

Principal photography on "A November Farewell" began in October of 2008, in Wisconsin and will conclude next summer.

In a nutshell, we like Mike Royko and miss his unique outlook. The themes of many of Mike’s columns are timeless. Our goal is to bring some of these back to life in short film format, hopefully introducing Mike’s work to a new generation and perhaps offering tried-and-true fans a fresh perspective.
